SwimOn
A regional swimming portal - news from the world, the region and Serbia, competitions, training, interviews and video.
The brief
SwimOn covers swimming on three levels: the world stage (Europe, USA, Australia, Asia…), the region (Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, North Macedonia) and domestic competitions. The editors needed a portal that handles daily publishing and an archive of thousands of articles, and readers - swimmers, coaches and parents - needed a fast path to the news they care about.
What we did
We developed a WordPress portal with a custom theme and a deep category structure: news by continent and regional country, competitions (Olympics, world and European championships, national championships, college swimming), training, video and "Swimming Corner" with interviews and records. Plus: search, ad placements for partners, featured and most-read news, social media integration and a donations page.
