A €20 logo or a €200 logo - what the real difference is

What you get at each price, why print formats matter, and when a cheap logo is the most expensive decision.

A €20 logo and a €200 logo can look similar on a phone screen. The difference shows later - on the bill for redoing it, on a blurry banner or on a business card where the mark fell apart.

What you buy for €20

Usually: a ready-made template with the text swapped, a single low-resolution file, and no usage rights that mean anything. It works on Instagram - until the first attempt at printing.

What you buy for €200

-A mark made for your business, not a template - checked so it doesn’t resemble competitors
-Vector formats (AI, SVG, EPS) - sharp on a business card and on a billboard
-Versions: colour, black, white, for dark and light backgrounds
-CMYK preparation for print and RGB for screen
-Basic guidelines: colours, fonts, minimum size, what not to do

When a cheap logo is the most expensive decision

When the company grows. A new website, signage, a vehicle, uniforms - and then it turns out the logo exists only as a 400-pixel JPG. Everything is done from scratch, and years of built-up recognition go into a restart.

ADVICE FROM PRACTICE
Our LOGO package (€200) includes 3 concepts, 2 rounds of revisions and all formats for web and print - everything a logo needs to be usable. All packages are in our price list.
